Performance Evaluations
Performance evaluations include everything from casual feedback on a daily basis to the full-blown employee performance appraisal. Your supervisors must be trained on the proper way to provide both positive and negative feedback. Employees must be trained to receive this feedback in the spirit it is given. Performance evaluations and feedback are designed to improve performance or to reward good performance so it will be repeated. Employees will welcome constructive feedback if they understand you are trying to help, not harm, them.
